Fellowships

Fellowships are available for Goucher students, alumnae/i and visiting scholars:

• The Jane Austen Scholar-in-Residence Program supports travel research fellowships to promote scholarship related to eighteenth-century studies using the Alberta Hirshheimer Burke-Jane Austen Collection at Goucher College.
• The Magnuson Fund for Creative Partnerships provides financial support to members of the Goucher community for collaborative projects involving the Library.
• The Mears Fellowship is open to alumnae/i pursuing a career in Library and Information Science.
• Peirce Fellowships, supported through the Peirce Center, are open to current Goucher students.

Our Awards

The Library and the Athenaeum have also won several prestigious awards, including:

• The John Cotton Dana Award
• A CLIR Grant to identify and catalog hidden collections
